Parchment House – Cat A

The scope of this transformative project included stripping out all services to an existing partly-cellularised office space and installation of new exposed services in an open plan arrangement. The toilets and shower facilities were also completely refurbished and new lighting installed in the core areas to complete this prestigious office development.

Size - 2,500 sq ft
Duration - 6 Weeks
Location - London
Sector - Office

The key challenge was to provide a cost-effective solution that would properly suit the design proposals and meet the client’s requirements. Projects with exposed services such as this one require a very high level of coordination between teams.

The rugged, highly functional aesthetics of the finished work leave nothing to chance. With air conditioning, ventilation, and electrical services fully visible, it is an unforgiving yet highly rewarding task to complete.

The planning and design phase of this project was given particular emphasis to ensure that the client’s requirements were fully understood and every detail was tied down.

Fully exposed galvanised containment systems were installed for supporting cabling and pipework. Contemporary suspended LED lighting, fed via galvanised conduit, was utilised in the office area. Galvanised skirting trunking was installed around the perimeter to compliment the industrial look.

Air conditioning cassette units were suspended and left fully exposed. The toilet and shower areas were completely refitted to bring them up to modern standards and to compliment the overall theme.

As a Project from initial design stages to detailed design and then to a fully completed set of site works, I could not recommend Integra higher. The level of design was very impressive. Clear communication at all times and adaptability to all site based circumstances are a vital part of our business as well as the ability to deliver high spec and detailed projects for our clients. I have found Integra to be very good on all of these fronts. Both ourselves @ Thirdway and our client are delighted with the finished product at Parchment House and I look forward to delivering many more projects with the Integra Team, several of which are at varying stages of design and completion.
